- Chef
The skilled villa chef is available to prepare daily breakfast, lunch and dinner from a tempting suggestion menu with emphasis on Thai cuisine, and is happy to discuss any special dining requests or dietary requirements.
- Villa attendants
Villa attendants handle all the daily housekeeping duties and assist the kitchen to provide service at mealtimes.

Estate staff keep the villa pool and gardens in pristine condition with regular service.

Dining
Private dining at Villa Abiente is a fine chance to explore Thai cuisine and meals can be fully customised to suit guests’ tastes, pace and level of spice. Daily breakfast is included in the villa rate and the chef is on hand to prepare all other meals from the suggestion menu, which features some delicious local dishes as well as kid-friendly, vegetarian and western choices.
Villa Abiente has a fully equipped guest kitchen for those who wish to prepare their own meals or snacks, and a choice of dining areas. Whether you are in the mood for a formal meal in the bright dining room, a quick nibble at the breakfast bar, poolside tapas and cocktails in the sunken lounge, this villa has it covered.
Groceries are charged at market price plus a 20% handling fee and a government tax, with a minimum shopping fee of THB 750. Guests are encouraged to plan their meals at least a day in advance with a chef. Villa staff will take care of all the shopping and keep the receipts for reference.
Families
Villa Abiente offers a lavish holiday retreat for families, especially for those with older children. Kids will love splashing around in the villa’s private 12-metre pool and letting off steam with games on the lawn. But should extra space or new playmates be sought, there’s always the huge communal pool near the estate entrance. Inside, Villa Abiente has ample entertainment choices for families with each ensuite bedroom and the living room equipped with a flat-screen TV. In the cosy media room (which has its own ensuite bathroom) is a TV and a sofa bed, so the space can easily be converted into an extra child’s bedroom if needed.
A skilled team of staff, including a chef, is on hand all day to cater exclusively to your family’s needs. The villa’s menu offers a fine introduction to Thai food, with several family friendly choices. The chef and villa manager will gladly discuss all your dining requirements and will help customise meals to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. There’s also a fully equipped guest kitchen available for families who wish to prepare their own snacks or meals.
Villa Abiente is well located for families who wish to explore Phuket’s marine attractions, with the spectacular Phang Nga Bay just to the east of Cape Yamu. The beach closest to the villa isn’t ideal for swimming, but families will enjoy leisurely walks along the promenade, with great sunset views across the bay. And at the nearby pier, longtail boats, speedboats and kayaks are available for hire to explore the calm waters and nearby islands. Some of island’s best nature attractions including Bang Pae Waterfall, the Gibbon Rehabilitation centre and the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary are just minutes away from the villa, too. For more activity choices, be sure to check our Things to do page, or ask the villa staff about their insights on family friendly attractions around the island.
Spa
Villa Abiente is an ideal place to enjoy a soothing Thai massage or spa therapy in complete comfort and privacy. Your villa manager will be pleased to organise a recommended spa specialist to administer a revitalising treatment (extra charges apply). The villa’s poolside sunbeds offer an excellent makeshift spa bed for a breezy massage session followed by a refreshing dip, or treatments could be carried out in one of the air-conditioned bedrooms for a bit more peace and privacy. Here's a sample of what's on the menu:
- Classic Thai massage
An ancient traditional art, this method of massage was originally administered on temple grounds by masters with healing abilities. By exerting pressure on specific points of the body and by manipulating muscles and ligaments, the spine is elongated and relieved of tension. The sense of well-being as energy and flexibility are brought back into your body is extraordinary.
- Herbal oil massage
Our herbal oil massage – using blends of spice, citrus, aromatic and citronella oils – is a combination of a classic Thai and oil massage. This gentle massage will leave you feeling on top of the world, and is especially suitable for people with little experience of Thai massage.
- Facial massage
The traditional way of purifying and nourishing your face using natural products, such as our herbal cream cleaner, and honey from the North of Thailand – as well as root masks and soft pressure point massage. This relaxing facial treatment will leave your skin feeling silky smooth, giving you a fresh and healthy glow. Our facial massage is popular with both men and women.
- Foot massage
This is a treat for one of the body’s most important – and often neglected – parts. After the pressure point massage, herbal foot masque and herbal oil treatment, you’ll be back to full speed again.
- Manicure/pedicure
Indulge, sit back and enjoy a quality manicure by a professional therapist. The pedicure includes a luxury foot soak, foot scrub and exfoliation to soften those weary feet.
